Is a great love or a partnership better?
A great love relationship is designed differently than a great partnership between male and female.
Can’t I have both?
A great love lives from the polarity of both… the higher the diversity so greater can be the love.
A partnership lives from similarity and to complement each other. So more both have in common and to complement each other, so better can be the partnership.
My generation thought that we can transform a great love to an excellent partnership.
My generation proved that this is not possible. And our divorce rate went through the roof.
The generation of my parents has chosen their spouse for a good partnership…
Many have failed, and many got their good partnership…
In any case, if we want that great partnership, we have to choose our spouse wisely and to try every day to maintain a good relationship. There will always be ups and downs in any relationship.
Had our parents a lousy relationship and/or we a difficult childhood the chances to live a good partnership is very small.
Usually, a passionate love story ends early. And that is good so.
Afterward, we can again choose to live the next passionate love story or a good partnership with/without kids.
For many including me is a passionate love much more attractive and the sex is also more exciting than to be in a long-term partnership.
Many people are missing that great love in their life and even didn’t have any great love with awesome sex in their life. Because they have chosen a good partnership over a great love story. When their partnership didn’t work out, they can’t divorce because of the kids…
If they had tried out to live that passionate love before they got engaged in a partnership, their life would be much happier. Because after experience so much pain in a great love story; they could enjoy more their partnership.
For the people with a difficult childhood or their parents had a lousy partnership, is not so much choice!
For them is a not so long love relationship the best. Afterward is finish and they can start with a new love relationship. In any case, to be in a bad relationship is much worse than to be in a time-limited love relationship.
